In-scope features for Drona include:
Personalized Learning Paths: Tailoring content and assessments based on student performance, utilizing Bloom’s taxonomy to encourage higher-order thinking.
Interactive Quizzes & Tests: Real-time, adaptive assessments that measure understanding and guide students to improve.
AI-Generated Feedback: GenAI will offer instant feedback on answers, suggestions for improvement.
Progress Tracking: The app stores and tracks student level of Understandin (which level are you on of blooms taxonomy).
Engagement Tools: Use of the Socratic method to stimulate critical thinking by prompting questions and discussions in an interactive way.
Out-of-scope features for Drona include:
Offline Access: No offline iteraction for the student.
Complex AI Tutoring: Although Drona provides personalized learning, it doesn’t yet support full-scale AI-driven tutoring with in-depth, conversational AI sessions.
What are the future opportunities for this solution?
Examinations Specific Study: We wish to include Exam specific study feature in the app.
Teaching on Material Given by Student : We wish to include material specific studies.
Voice-over for Drona: We wish to include Voice over for Drona to help special-abled student.
Better-UI: We wish to improve the UI for the Users.
Challenges we ran into
There were many bugs while building project special working with AI to get the desired output.
For instance--
- We wanted to not teach the topics which are not topics that are teachable😕 it took us sometime to figure this out
we included in prompt to return a specific set character when this happens and then not add that topic i hope that made sense. - AI going off-topic i need to include a long prompt to solve this.
- AI for no reasons level up the student to next level (hopefully it wont happen now) again prompt solved it.
- assignments was not generating correctly changed the genration config and it working fine now
- Connecting to learnt topics was also a problem solved this by introducing one more model to judge which topics are relevant and store them in db
