The problem DrawCoin solves
The “art → coin → buy/sell” flow is fragmented and confusing for new users. DrawCoin brings hand-drawn and AI art together in one place and turns it into a single guided flow.
What is it for? Turn hand-drawn and/or AI-generated artwork into a coin, share it with your community, and trade.
How does it make things easier? One interface, clear confirmations, price/fee preview, and slippage control.
How is it safer? SDK-based integration and clear contract/address visibility reduce ambiguity around actions and assets.
Challenges I ran into
-Zora SDK trade integration: Resolved integration errors by deep-diving docs/SDK; fixed version mismatches and stabilized the flow.
-Buy/Sell flow: Addressed slippage and failed trades with explicit slippage control, price/fee preview, and a persistent transaction history.
-AI implementation: Handled Gemini/Together rate limits and timeouts via provider fallback, queuing, and a “retry” flow.
-IPFS uploads: Mitigated CORS on 1024×1024 images using a Next.js API proxy, retry/backoff, and pin-status polling.
-Wallet & network switching: Normalized signature/network differences across wallets with auto-switch to Base, unified error messages, and guided prompts.

We combine the entire “Draw → Tokenize → Trade” flow in one product.

-Live demo (Vercel) runs the full flow end-to-end: creation → listing → buy/sell.
-1024×1024 output, IPFS pinning, and successful transactions on Base are in place.
