We are building an app to fix appointments with dostors, where patients will be able to know about the doctors nearby and the earliest appointment. Medical history will also be saved.
The problem DoctorDo solves
-Patients in most of the tier 2 and tier 3 cities have to visit the
hospitals and clinics to fix appointments and then have to wait for
the given time which wastes a lot of time.
-If patients from villages or towns have to fix their appointments
then they have to visit the clinic or get some known ones to have
their appointments fixed before going to the doctors which also
wastes their time and money.
-Patients in many cases have little choice of doctors due to
limited information about which doctors available.
-There is no online portal to get appointments with local doctors
to save time.
-If patients do know about 2 or 3 doctors in thier locality there is no
way they can find out about where their appointment will occur the
earliest.
- Most of the prescriptions issued by the doctors to patients are
lost which prevents them to keep track of their health. and medical
history. - The concept on online doctor appointments has almost 0%
penetration in tier 2 and 3 cities
Challenges we ran into
We are still analyzing how to make the system optimal at the doctor's side in terms of logistics and easiness for the doctor and any kind of system failure.
We have a vision to integrate blockchain into the project so that the medical history can be saved on blockchain.
We are facing problem in integrating problem as we are new in the blockchain space.
We are also looking to use Metamask.
