The problem DocMint solves

Every day, innumerable documents and certificates are issued by a multitude of organizations. But there's always a chance of forgery or duplication even if you take all the centralized methods into consideration data can be very easily tempered within the host databases. To solve this problem blockchain comes to the rescue with its features like transparency, ownership, immutability and forever availability and accessibility. DocMint is built with the vision to solve hassle and security issues related to document verification.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating smart contract functions into the frontend part was a challenge, however, we tried to the best of our knowledge to develop this project to basic working conditions. Since the backend code is working accordingly, it will be easier to understand the mechanism of the smart contract.
