Intellectual Property Infringement in Vietnam:
The National Office of Intellectual Property in Vietnam reports alarming levels of intellectual property infringement, leading to significant financial losses from counterfeit goods. Manufacturers resort to various anti-counterfeiting labels, yet counterfeit products persist, causing consumer challenges and damaging the reputation of genuine products. DocChain helps combat this issue by utilizing Blockchain's transparency and verification features. Through the incorporation of Vision AI, the system ensures accurate analysis and authentication of document images. Blockchain's transparency ensures that information is securely stored and can be verified across the network when authorized access is granted. This can help trace the authenticity of products, reducing the prevalence of counterfeit goods and protecting both consumers and manufacturers. -
Prolonged Document Notarization Process for Job Seekers:
The lengthy process of document notarization poses a challenge for job seekers, leading to demotivation and missed opportunities in the competitive job market. Administrative complexities and bureaucratic delays hinder candidates' career growth, particularly affecting recent graduates and job changers. DocChain addresses this challenge by streamlining the notarization process through the integration of AI and Blockchain. Vision AI technology ensures accurate content verification, while Blockchain's transparency and verification features enable efficient document authentication. Collaboration among governments, educational institutions, and employers, along with digital solutions, further enhances the process. unnecessary delays and obstacles.
Challenges we ran into
During the development of our project, we encountered several challenges. One notable hurdle was integrating the different technologies we used, such as Solidity for smart contracts, Node.js for backend, MetaMask for blockchain interaction, React.js and MaterialUI for the frontend, as well as Third Web and Vision AI components. We faced specific bugs while synchronizing these components and ensuring seamless communication among them. To overcome this, we established a rigorous testing and debugging process, closely examining each technology's interactions and addressing compatibility issues systematically. Additionally, we leveraged online communities and documentation resources to gain insights and solutions that aided in resolving the integration complexities. Through diligent problem-solving and collaborative efforts, we successfully navigated these challenges and achieved a cohesive and functional DocChain system.
It's essential to tackle the user experience (UX) issues in Web 3. Unlike the user-friendly interfaces of Web 2 platforms, Web 3 interfaces frequently demand users to engage with cryptographic keys, wallets, and decentralized applications (dApps). Enhancing the user-friendliness and availability of Web 3 applications holds significant importance to make them more widely accepted.
Another challenge lies in ensuring interoperability. Web 3 strives to facilitate smooth communication and interaction among diverse blockchain networks and applications. Nevertheless, accomplishing seamless compatibility between different protocols and ensuring effective data interchange across distinct systems remains a intricate undertaking.
