Distli is envisioned to be a revolutionary blockchain app-chain stack, designed for developers, that operates seamlessly on edge devices such as browsers, mobile phones, and IoT systems. The current blockchain landscape is highly complex, with significant technical challenges, high infrastructure costs, and a lack of focus on edge device compatibility. Developers face challenges such as limited state management, lack of native data control, and heavy baseline requirements for nodes, which make integration into modern applications costly and inefficient.

Distli aims to refocus the ecosystem with a developer-first approach. By leveraging lightweight and modular architecture, Distli will make it possible to deploy blockchain nodes on edge devices without sacrificing performance or scalability. This approach empowers developers to focus on solving user problems, rather than navigating the technical hurdles of traditional blockchain infrastructure.

Challenges I ran into

We are currently developing the MVP and key architecture for the app chain node.

We are also starting development of the developer portal and aim to have it concluded in 3 to 4 months. In 2 months, onboarded 2200 developers to our open source developer platform with a simple landing page.

We are looking into grants in order to accelerate portal and MVP development.
