A simple web app which predicts the disease and similar symptoms by taking a single keyword symptom from a patient and generate the same in prescription format.
The problem Disease Prediction solves
It minimizes the workload of doctors and reduces the time it takes to see a patient as this model will do the prediction of disease and other symptoms when a patient tells about his problems. The software basically inputs symptoms that are provided by the patient. The symptoms are then matched into the dataset and then the software predicts, outputting a list of diseases the patient is likely to be suffering from. This will help in accurately predicting what is patient is suffering through, even if the dictor misjudges it, or shows a number od diseases associated with the same symptoms which the doctor can possibly miss.
Challenges we ran into
The data is not widely available. We had to scan through large datasets and find the most relevant ones. Our model is also taking large time to get trained.
