We used MCU node for data hopping, i.e. without any network we could send SOS from various destinations. Also, we had an app to warn about the disaster and they could prepare and reach a safe point.

The problem Disaster Prepardness solves
If people were already aware of the coming disaster they could prepare in advance and reach particular safe points for safety
Challenges we ran into
Getting the current location of the user on the app was quite complex.We also had to learn Flask API to send data
