The problem Disaster Management System solves

Our project provides 3 main objective benifits. It is a web-application that functions as a Disaster Management System.

1. "Our project offers a comprehensive and centralized source of information, empowering users with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions during a Natural Disaster".
2. "Our project aims to minimize the impact of disasters on communities and environment by coordinating the efforts of various agencies and organisations, such as emergency services, health departments, utilities, and the military in "real-time" ".
3. "It will also allow information gathering and sharing, after-disaster reviews (disaster report analysis)"

Future Developments in the web-app inlcudes :

• Incorporating the "web3" and "Blockchain" technology to provide more transparent and verified relief fund transactions.
• Server-Side scripting (enabling us to store the user data and also broadcast messages)
• Predictive Analysis using Machine Learning models and algorithms to provide more efficient health-care, better relief plans, locating and isolating disaster prone zones.

Challenges we ran into

There were a few minor bugs in our programs, mostly minor syntax errors. We handled and corrected them through a systematic debugging session.
