The problem Disability Suite solves
This project is designed to assist people with disabilities. It includes an eye scanner that can be used to control the cursor for movement and clicking. Additionally, a hand gesture detector based on American Sign Language is included to facilitate communication. Individuals who are unable to speak can use this project to communicate their thoughts, which will be translated into text and spoken aloud by the program.
Challenges we ran into
The main hurdles we encountered while building this project were related to hardware issues such as limited GPU capabilities and the lack of a high-quality webcam. we experimented with various machine learning models and techniques to find the most accurate and efficient approach for our project. Overall, by being resourceful and persistent, we were able to successfully develop and deploy our AI and machine learning-based project.
