The problem DiagnoDose AI solves
Medication errors—especially wrong dosages—contribute to over 250,000 deaths annually worldwide (WHO). In India, inadequate access to timely diagnosis and diet guidance worsens chronic diseases. Our platform solves this by:
Predicting disease risks using AI from user inputs (vitals, history, symptoms).
Recommending accurate medication dosages to prevent over- or under-medication.
Generating personalized dietary plans aligned with medical conditions.
Offering a secure dashboard (blockchain-integrated) that tracks diagnosis, prescriptions, and follow-ups—especially helpful for remote/rural patients.
Acting as a one-stop platform to reduce clinical load and improve self-health management.
This makes healthcare safer, more personalized, and accessible—even without physical hospital visits.
Challenges we ran into
Data Scarcity & Privacy Concerns: Medical datasets are often limited or sensitive. We used synthetic data generation to train disease models while maintaining privacy.
Dosage Accuracy: Creating dosage models that adapt to age, weight, and comorbidities required careful balancing. We addressed this using regularized ML models for stability.
Diet Integration Complexity: Mapping diseases to diet plans wasn’t straightforward. We built a cross-referencing dictionary linking conditions with meal plans and daily nutrition needs.
Blockchain Dashboard Setup: Integrating medical history with blockchain was complex due to wallet handling and transparency needs. We used Polygon for cost-effective deployment and simplified UX using MetaMask.
Overcoming these helped us build a robust, scalable platform focused on preventive, secure, and intelligent healthcare.
