THE PROBLEM STATEMENT

• Many government schemes on their respective portals are explained in a confusing manner, without clarity. And this affects the target audience of their scheme i.e., the weaker and financially unstable sections of society.
• The government websites do not show a clear approach on how to avail these schemes. And hence, a lot of people are not aware of these financial benefits.
• Moreover, these websites lack common instructions that one needs to apply for these schemes.
• Most government websites offer the scheme related information in either English or Hindi. And that is why a lot of people find it difficult to understand the schemes.

HOW WE SOLVED THE PROBLEM

1. Our application makes sure that all the schemes are explained in a simple format.
2. We give the users an option to select languages and categories, like Loans, Insurance, Investments etc. so that they can pick whatever suits them best.
3. A Multi-lingual approach was taken so that all diverse communities are addressed to.
4. Our application provides the user an option to understand schemes in 5 different regional languages with future support for more.
5. We also provide necessary information like the eligibility criteria and also the documents required to apply for a scheme.
6. Additionally, we also have a DhanSaathi AI chatbot which uses the Groclake framework and carries out a RAG-based output system to all users with questions related to government schemes listed.
