A student managing mobile application designed specifically for a garba teaching coach in my local hometown.
The problem DevGroup solves
This mobile application simplifies the management of student-related tasks, including inserting, updating, renewing, and deleting student records.
The app organizes students into batches of 100, sorted alphabetically from A to Z. Each student in a batch is assigned a unique batch code generated automatically from the backend system. Admin can conveniently search for students using various filters provided within the app.
For a comprehensive analysis, the app evaluates student data on a yearly basis, presenting different ratios such as male female ratio, monthly and yearly ratios, and payment status (pending or paid) ratios, displayed in either percentage or accurate figures.
The settings page offers the flexibility to enable or disable fingerprint authentication, reset MPIN, edit the default WhatsApp draft message, set default fees, and change the server URL endpoint.
Challenges I ran into
The biggest challenge I faced during the development for my client was when they wanted to customize and preview the color design on their own, especially since we were in different locations.
To tackle this issue, I opted to purchase a static IP address from my internet service provider (ISP). I then set up port forwarding on my router, allowing my system to be accessible over the internet. I provided my client with a static IP URL, enabling them to view live changes in the color design through the Expo app.
