The problem DESPLIT solves

Tired of splitting the bills while on trips or holiday with others ? This is want we have thought and made "DESPLIT". Desplit allows to settle up the expenses in the group that effectively addresses the challenges of multichain interoperability by enabling seamless transactions across multiple Layer-1 (L1) and Layer-2 (L2) blockchains. One of the primary issues in a multichain environment is the difficulty of transferring assets and data between different chains, which can lead to confusion for users regarding payments, gas fees, and the compatibility of receiving chains. Users often find it challenging to navigate the intricacies of different blockchains, especially when they need to send payments across chains.

Challenges we ran into

Connceting the wallets in the mobile and making Cross-Chain Interaction: Enabling seamless cross-chain interactions was a significant challenge due to the unique protocols and consensus mechanisms of different Layer 1 and Layer 2 chains. We had to develop a robust framework to facilitate real-time communication and transaction validation across multiple chains, ensuring users could send and receive funds without delays or errors.

Bridging Different Chains: Bridging various chains presented another hurdle, as each blockchain has its own rules and security measures. We needed to create a secure and efficient universal bridge that minimized transaction times and costs, which involved integrating multiple blockchain APIs and adapting to their updates.

Abstracting Users' Multiple Wallets and Chains: Many users hold assets across various wallets and chains, leading to confusion. Our challenge was to design an intuitive user interface that abstracts these complexities, allowing users to manage their assets easily. We focused on developing a unified dashboard that aggregates information from multiple wallets, simplifying the transaction process.
