DesiNFT addresses a significant gap in the current NFT marketplace landscape. Traditional NFT platforms are saturated with a vast array of digital assets from around the world, leading to an overwhelming flood of NFTs.
In this crowded space, NFTs that celebrate Indian culture and folklore often go unnoticed. DesiNFT aims to solve this problem by creating a dedicated platform for Indian-themed NFTs, ensuring they receive the visibility and appreciation they deserve.
Promoting Indian Culture - DesiNFT provides a platform to highlight Indian culture, heritage, and folklore, showcasing and preserving India’s rich cultural elements.
Minting and Trading NFTs - Users can easily mint, sell, and purchase NFTs, with seamless and secure transactions through MetaMask integration.
User-Friendly Interface - DesiNFT’s minimal design ensures easy navigation, reducing the learning curve and enhancing the user experience.

Challenges we ran into
Building DesiNFT came with its share of challenges, but each hurdle was an opportunity to learn and grow.
Working with the Polygon Cardano Network - This was our first time working with the Polygon network. I overcame this by carefully reading the documentation, which provided the necessary guidance for integration.
Learning Web3 and Solidity - Being new to Web3, I took a free Solidity programming course from Rise In, which gave me the foundational knowledge to develop and implement smart contracts.
