The problem DeRummy solves

Rummy is one of the most popular card games in India. It has been an integral part of our culture and tradition for a very, very long time. The rummy game is popular for its simplicity and unlimited fun factor. People from all walks of life love to play rummy, making it one of the most sought-after means of entertainment.

So, at DeRummy, we thought of revolutionizing the classic game by using blockchain technology and we tried to create an rummy game where we can bet with cryptocurrency tokens using wallets like Metamask.

Features for future releases.

1. We plan to create 10,000 Rummy Table NFTs.
2. NFT holders can stake their NFT and earn passive income whenever a game is played on their NFT table.
3. Rummy table NFTs with the highest number of games + highest bet amounts played on them can create Rummy parlours in the Metaverse, organise tournaments and get revenue generated from the games played.
4. Your NFT Rummy Table levels up after you have won. Unlocking you to join tables with bigger bets.

Challenges I ran into

There were many challenges on using the Rummy table NFTs as an entry to play the game and connect to smart contracts so that the NFT holders can earn passive income when a game is played on the Rummy table.
