People sometimes mis-interpret lesions on their skin for cancer or something serious while some at the same time refuse to believe that a random spot on their skin might be a sign of cancer. There is a certain level of fear around getting yourself checked up. Sometimes people go to doctors for lesions that are not skin cancer related rather just rashes or burns or something of that sort. We want people to have an accessible online tool that aids their decision to go to the doctor. We also want people to track their skin lesions and progress of cancer if applicable. For this, we would like to implement blockchain storage or IPFS. We also would like to allow people to fund their skin cancer treatment using cryptocurrencies and our webapp. Due to the popularity gain that such an app may gain, we believe it is a suitable method for people to crowdfund treatment if they cannot afford it themselves. Affording cancer treatment, or rather the lack of affordability is another reason people run away from getting themselves checked up. We want to help people identify cancer before it spread too much and causes a lot of damage.
