The problem Dequila solves
The prediction market landscape is dominated by high-fee platforms. Polymarket charges variable fees plus spread. DraftKings maintains a 10 to 15 percent hold.
Dequila operates differently: flat 5 percent fee, 2 percent token burn, and 93 percent goes directly to winners. This makes us the lowest-cost prediction platform while introducing deflationary token mechanics.
Challenges I ran into
Creating a prediction market is a lot harder than expected, in web3 there are a lot of variables that you need to be aware of. Liquidity of tokens is volatile.
I wanted to build a react-native app,, but wallet integration is not feasible in this time frame in RN especially not with socios wallet.
I tried to integrate socios wallet btw, but I think the docs are wrong in the chiliz website, it says you need to use walletkit, but you should use appkit I think.
