Demo Studio automates this workflow. Users upload screenshots and define interactions, and our AI handles the rest—generating scripts, voiceovers, and smooth motion graphics. This allows founders and developers to ship polished interactive demos in minutes, significantly reducing time-to-market for product marketing.
Challenges I ran into
- Synchronization: Aligning AI-generated voiceovers with visual steps and cursor movements required precise timing calculations.
- Unified Media Management: Managing various asset types (screenshots, videos, audio) with different MIME types across a monorepo structure.
- AI Orchestration: Integrating OpenAI for script and motion generation while maintaining a structured state that the frontend can reliably render.
- Layout & UX: Designing a complex 3-pane editor (Parts, Preview, Media) using Material Design 3 and Tailwind CSS v4 that remains responsive and intuitive.
- Real-time Collaboration: Ensuring the AI chat agent can modify the project state (adding/updating steps) while the user is editing, preventing state desynchronization.
