The problem DemenTech solves

Dementia is currently the seventh leading cause of death among all diseases and one of the major causes of disability and dependency among older people globally. Currently more than 55 million people live with dementia worldwide, and there more than 10 million new cases every year.
Our project, DemenTech is an all-in-one tool to aid people with Dementia and lessen the rate of cognitive decline and brain function. Packed with features yet subtle and minimalistic in its UI it is a cross-platform solution that is sure to bring a significant impact in the lives of those affected by the syndrome!

Challenges we ran into

We had major issues while conducting a video call, since there were 2 different interfaces i.e. web and app. We attempted to utilise push notifications too but had difficulties in connecting firebase with react native as well as django. Ultimately we circumvented it by employing the Wassenger whatsapp API for notifications on the mobile device.
