Stereotypically, mental health is not given as much as importance as Physical Health. Moreover, it is considered as an old age individual's problem. However, ever since the pandemic, several health association reports a 75% or more increase of mental health incidents among college students. "DELICATE - helps you keep calm" is a system which lets students connect with counsellors available in campus. Students can share their issues related to stress, depression cases, as well as other problems which are quite common to teenagers. The website will help provide the most immediate help to students facing issues which they may not be able to discuss with their close friends or family. We've come up with an amalgamation of counselling by certified counsellors as well as various methods of self-help which will boost the morale of the students.
While trying to create an application to help with the mental well-being of students, we faced some trouble understanding how the mental health can be improved. As it's a subjective topic, we tried to focus on the most common way of boosting the students morale. We did a deep research on the various methods used by students to cheer themselves up, which included listening to songs, watching movies and reading books.
