What's the problem?

You want to show off your NFTs to someone. Or you want to marvel at it occasionally. After all, you've spent some precious crypto on it. But your options to do so are currently through products like NFT wallets or markets or through expensive bulky digital frames.

What if there was a way to display your NFTs in a high-quality pocket friendly screen, made just to connect to your wallet and even personalised to your wishes.

Enter Dehidden Frames

Dehidden Frames are single edition electronic frames that burn your NFTs into the display which then you can use, show and sell with proof-of-ownership on the blockchain.

The Frames were designed and 3D printed to fit your pocket and be carried around so that you don't have to worry about the bulky alternatives.

We have allowed space to add your logo, brand or any kind of personalisation to make the Frame truly yours.

Utility Access

That's not all though. Each Frame has a unique QR code linked to the NFT, that once scanned will take you to your NFT microsite. From there you are able to access the various utilities of your NFT powered by Dehidden. These range from viewing proof of ownership on IPFS to Autographing your NFT.

This goes both ways. We have created the microsites with the Dehidden Frames in mind. This means that any collector of an NFT powered by Dehidden gets to redeem a Dehidden Frame through the utility tab on the microsite.

Through this metaverse tool, we have created a bridge between your NFTs from the digital to the physical world, tied together using the URL of the microsite.

Challenges we ran into

The Physical Side of Things

The major hurdle we faced was getting the dimensions of the Frames perfect for the use case we had in mind. The initial prototypes were either too bulky to carry around or too thin to stand on their own.

We finally settled for the current model, which allows enough space inside to carry the PCB and power components, while being handy enough to carry anywhere.

Another physical aspect was the power supply. We did not want to reduce the form factor with a USB port on the Frame. So we went with a cool looking magnetic plug that lights up when you connect it. We have already begun innovating our next edition with a wireless battery-powered model.

Digital Challenges

Seamless connection between the Frame, the QR, the microsites and the NFT utilities is what makes the Dehidden Frames unique. Nailing this down from the design of the microsite to getting the utility smart contract deployed was the other major task we had to face.
