The problem Degen-AI solves
As a beginner to web3 and novice to crypto trading, people look for resources to know about how blockchain and crypto trade works. It may feel overwhelming for them so we bring forward a simple, user-friendly chatbot Degen-AI the one chatbot for all web3 queries which holds the power of AI to help these people. It can fetch realtime crypto currencies, compare prices of mutiple cryptos and can validate your transaction address for you and get the transaction details with Ethersan api. This feature is a crucial part of this project as we can validate and get transaction details through chat. Exclusively for crypto investors it can suggest recommendations to buy or sell based on market trends. It creates a chart of price history for users to analyze as well.
Challenges we ran into
We have faced issues during integration of gpt-3.5 with function calling. As beginners to ai development, this part was a bit challenging for us. Since gpt-3.5 can't handle large number tokens we have used gemini for transaction address validation.
The limitations in open-source api made building and testing hard. After a lot of brain-storming sessions and research, we have integrated as much features as we could in the given time frame. We have further development plans for this project as this one needs to cover every bit of web3 and blockchain information to be useful for beginners.
