Decentralizing fund disbursal for a fraud-free governance

The problem deFraud solves

The current scenario of the government system is a layered hierarchical structure for fund disbursal which involves transfer of money through specific schemes to the needy ones. Such a system is much prone to fund stagnation at intermediate levels of hierarchy, fraudulent practices by corrupt officers, poor management of records and delay in the verification process of the funds. This project involves a blockchain oriented approach for tracking transactions and maintaining immutability, transparency and trust between people and government. This platform provides a clean and smooth UI / UX for the digitally authorized people signing onto the system. Such a single point secure system can almost eliminate the possibilities of alterations and enable fast verification process for fund transfer.

Challenges we ran into

This project was built for CodeShastra 6.0 . As it was a 24 hour hackathon, there were many such features which were to be implemented like OCR, visualization of fund transfer for each intermediary through charts/graphs but we couldn't implement them due to limited time constraints.
