The problem DeFi Guardyan solves
Managing DeFi investments can be complex and overwhelming. Our application simplifies this process by allowing users to input their wallet address and instantly view the health of their portfolio, including collateral, debt, health factors, and risk levels. This empowers users to make informed decisions about their investments and risk management, enhancing their overall trading experience.
Challenges we ran into
During development, we encountered challenges with fetching real-time token balances and prices from external APIs. Ensuring the data was consistent and accurate took considerable effort, especially when handling edge cases such as invalid wallet addresses or unexpected API responses. To overcome these hurdles, we implemented thorough error handling and validation checks to provide users with clear feedback and prevent crashes.
