The Problem It Solves
DeFi AI solves the challenges of accessibility and usability in blockchain and cryptocurrency. Blockchain’s complexity, steep learning curve, and risk of costly errors deter many users. DeFi AI acts as a personal AI-powered assistant, simplifying tasks and making blockchain approachable for everyone.
How It Helps
Accessibility:
DeFi AI translates natural language queries like “Send 1 ETH to Alice” into blockchain actions, removing the need for technical knowledge and making blockchain inclusive for beginners.
Safety:
With advanced validation, DeFi AI ensures wallet addresses and transaction parameters are accurate, minimizing errors and building trust with users.
Ease of Use:
DeFi AI simplifies blockchain with an intuitive interface powered by natural language processing (NLP), so users can focus on their goals instead of technical details.
Onboarding:
For businesses and developers, DeFi AI accelerates user adoption with guided workflows and interactive tutorials, reducing friction for new users.
DeFi AI bridges the gap between blockchain and users, making crypto tasks as easy as talking to a knowledgeable friend. By simplifying complexity, enhancing safety, and improving efficiency, it empowers anyone—beginner or expert—to confidently navigate blockchain technology.
Challenges We Ran Into
Building DeFi AI to onboard the next billion users onto blockchain posed unique challenges that required innovative problem-solving. Our aim was to create an intuitive, AI-driven platform that simplifies blockchain tasks while ensuring scalability, and efficiency.
1.Integrating AI with Blockchain
The biggest challenge was enabling AI to process natural language queries and accurately execute blockchain functions. For example, users might ask, “Send 1 ETH to Alice,” and the system needed to extract key details like the recipient, amount, and currency to perform the transaction.
• Challenge: Interpreting diverse user inputs, extracting parameters, and ensuring accuracy in execution. Misinterpretations could lead to failed or incorrect transactions.
• Solution: We developed advanced NLP models trained on blockchain-specific queries. Additionally, a validation layer was implemented to check extracted parameters like wallet addresses and transaction amounts, ensuring reliability and reducing errors.
2.Building a Robust Backend
We aimed to create a “black box” backend that abstracts blockchain complexities, allowing seamless interaction for users.
• Challenge: Ensuring modularity, scalability, and security while managing complex blockchain operations.
• Solution: We implemented a microservices architecture with an optimized API layer. The backend is designed to handle high loads and is future-ready, allowing easy integration of new blockchain protocols. Strong encryption and secure key management ensured data and transaction safety.
3.Addressing Scalability
With the vision of supporting millions of users, the system had to handle high transaction volumes without compromising performance.
• Challenge: Blockchain latency and network congestion can lead to slow transaction processing.
• Solution: We used caching, load balancing, etc to improve speed and reduce costs.
During the hackathon, we focused on expanding the capabilities of our project, Defi AI, a friendly cryptocurrency AI dApp, by introducing several innovative features and integrations. Here’s what we added:
Voice Command Support
We made interacting with Defi AI even more intuitive by enabling voice commands. Users can now simply talk to Defi AI to get answers to their cryptocurrency-related questions, making the experience more accessible and user-friendly.
Base Name Registration
A new feature allows users to check the availability of a base domain name, view its price, and register it—all seamlessly integrated within Defi AI.
AI Agent on Mira Network
We built an AI agent that operates on the Mira Network, equipped with comprehensive knowledge about all Polygon stacks. This provides users with in-depth insights and assistance tailored to Polygon's ecosystem.
Restaking on EigenLayer
We introduced a restaking feature, enabling users to restake assets like stETH, DAI, USDT, and more on EigenLayer. This functionality enhances yield opportunities and promotes asset efficiency.
BNB Chain Support
Defi AI now supports the BNB Chain, allowing users to send tokens and execute swaps directly on the chain, further broadening its multi-chain functionality.
These additions significantly enhance the versatility, utility, and user experience of Defi AI, taking it to new heights in the decentralized finance landscape.
