The problem DeFaS(Decentralized Fantasy Sports) solves
On DeFaS with a Governance DAO to eradicate fake winning. It provides great platform to showcase cricketing acumen. It enables user to play customised contest. Current centralised fantasy sports app charge huge brokerage and also controls the entry-exit in a particular contest.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out the best possible way to reduce the gas consumption.
We did not knew that chainlink keepers/any oracles do not support filecoin chain so, a lot of time went in correcting it.
Integration of ChainlinkVRF for lottery with Keepers and then checking UpkeepNeeded or not denending on the Contest Variables (staringTime/ClosingTime).
Also a major Challenge in DeFaS is that Contest should be on proper timing and only for legal matches so we solve this problem by making some method to onlyOwner and further implementing A Governance DAO for controlling /moderating the Game and launching a DeFaS token.
we were not able to handle events to see when someone joined the contest or created contest So we made a subGraph for all the events and quering events become easy
