Challenges I ran into
Developing Decode has been exciting yet challenging! Initially, handling a high volume of users while ensuring a seamless experience was tough 💻, but with NestJS for our backend, we achieved the scalability needed. Gas fees 💸 were also a concern, especially for question submissions and problem-solving, but we optimized this to create a gasless submission process, removing any barriers to entry. Ensuring fair distribution of rewards through the platform required deep blockchain integrations and secure smart contract setups 🔐. We constantly optimized UI components, compilation speed 🕒, and database efficiency to enhance the overall user experience—turning each challenge into a step forward! 🌟
