Challenges we ran into

The primary challenge we encountered during the development of our project was the high cost associated with storing files on the Ethereum blockchain. This posed a significant obstacle, making it necessary for us to explore alternative solutions that would enhance the feasibility of our project and enable its future development. Fortunately, our search led us to discover IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and the Pinata API, which presented a promising alternative. We delved into understanding the integration of IPFS and the Pinata API, and this ultimately resolved our problem. By leveraging these technologies, we were able to overcome the expense hurdle and find a more practical and cost-effective approach to file storage within our decentralized digilocker project.
