The problem Dbuz solves

📌 Real-time crowd monitoring:

The app has an in-built feature for monitoring the available seats. Users can opt a bus that is less crowded through this feature. Also, this real-time crowd analytics is sent to the bus depot so that depots can send more buses in higher passenger routes & this can easily increase their revenue.

📌 Current bus location:

Users can track the exact location & timing of the bus so that there is no need to spend more time in bus-stops. This makes the user to plan their journey more efficiently & prevents the user from missing the bus.

📌 Built-in feature for informing physical harassments:

The app has an additional feature for reporting physical abuses to the depot in a few clicks so that swift actions can be taken. It will show all the details such as in which bus the abuse was reported, it's location, time etc.

📌 Voice Assistant:

Smart voice assistant bot with exclusive regional language support in which all the features of the app can be accessed through voice.

📌 Easy E-Ticketing:

Users can take tickets for any buses through cashless transaction which marks great in Digital India transformation.

📌 Travel History:

Rewards, Special Offers & Discount's are given to users who use public transport more frequently, rather than private vehicles. Thus, reducing a lot of transport emissions(Co2 & other emissions).

Challenges we ran into

✅ Geofencing Integration: Geofencing Integration was a little challenging to know the exact location of the buses

✅ Bot Integration: Integrating the Chatbot to the android application was difficult since we were beginners in working with chatbots. We overcame by doing more research on it.

✅ Data Handling: Data transfer via the cloud to the app and raspberry pi and vice versa

✅ Map Integration: We had some trouble integrating the map in the app.

✅ Fewer No. of Smart Phone Users in Rural Areas: We had observed that few per cent of people won't be using smartphones. Installing digital displays in the bus stations(especially in rural areas), which displays, near busses within the radius of the station and also offers other limited features of the app including E-ticketing.
