The problem DAppTruist solves

We the people that are blessed enough to have food to eat, clothes to wear, have a roof over our head need to check our privilege and be grateful for all we have, life is unpredictable and it all can be taken away at any second. Giving back can be done in a lot of ways, be it going physically to help those in need or even making monetary donations, every bit counts.
But some big organisations in today's world who seem noble, take up these philanthropic endeavours just to save tax and make the donations to their own trusts. This goes unrecognised due to the lack of transparency. Blockchain solves this. We at DAppTruist DAO, aim to create a trust-free decentralised organisation that takes up these endeavours and follows them through. Every transaction, be it a donation or proposal, can be tracked due to its decentralised nature. This keeps the system in check!

Challenges we ran into

The front-end of this application is made on flutter, the problem with that is, that not many dev packages exist that help connect the traditional wallets to the dart code. So my teammate and I published our own package on pub.dev called web3_connect (https://pub.dev/packages/web3_connect)
This helped us connect our wallet with the Alfajores Celo testnet wallet and make transactions on the DApp.
