The problem Dapp Poet's Society solves
A decentralized Social network that allows users to share their art in a more decentralized, censorship-free and democratic manner. And earn rewards for their talents.
Dapp Poet's society allows poets to register, write their poem, and lets users to appreciate others work by tipping them, with our own ERC20 token "Irshad".
Challenges I ran into
There were a number of challenges in the making of this project, some as:
- Had to learn react development and typescript language from the scratch to build the project.
- Faced issues in deployment probably due to poor architecture, had to create a new repo for front-end on last day of submission.
- Smart Contracts are unmutable, that is once deployed you cannot change anything on the contract. thus you should make sure your protocol is free of bugs and vulnerabilities.
- Bug in one of the functionalities of the contract led to certain issues, had to re-deploy the contract in order to solve the bug.
- Certain methods of usedapp library were depreciated thus had to use traditional web3 to interact with blockchain and smart contract.
