In India, we have a concept of Labour Naka. Labour Naka is a place where all the daily workers gather every morning for work and contractors, according to their requirements and tasks, hire workers for a day. Daily Wage Workers sometimes get a job; sometimes they don’t. Sometimes there is an issue with the contractor as well; i.e., some other contractors might hire workers in bulk so that they don’t get workers for their work. Also, another problem is regarding work timings and pay. Workers are made to work for long hours and then are paid less, or sometimes they are not even paid. The pay is already small and they have a family to run. Also, the pandemic affected their lives very badly as everything was so closed because of the lockdown, they were not getting work, and they didn’t have money as well. Post the pandemic, it was risky to get out of your house as you might get contracted with the virus; so we decided to make an application regarding the same. The aim was to make an application that will provide information regarding job requirements and job availability. Any type of task that you want someone else to do for you, you can search for it on our application. Pay them the money and get your job done. Also, the worker can negotiate with the contractor regarding the pay on the application itself. By this we are also solving the problem of unemployment and bridging the gap between workers and contractors. The workers and contractors can communicate directly without any third party intervention.
