The problem DAIGNOS solves

The number of doctors in this world is limited and so is the accessibility to hospitals and doctors. It is often also expensive to go to doctors and clinics for many people everywhere. The problem here is that people who live in remote areas do not have access to good diagnosis and they have to travel great distances to get any medical help. The second problem it solves is that it is difficult to get treated by doctors for minor diseases and many people cannot afford it. So, the app aims to save a lot of money in unnecessary visits and forwards your profile to relevant doctors in nearby hospitals with a discount on the visit if the disease detected is of higher priority. We are confident that the application can solve both the issues for some diseases by making it possible to remotely diagnose people by using AI.

Challenges we ran into

The lack of data was overwhelming, but we did not give up and actively collected data from various sources manually. Deploying the model completely on-device was also challenging, but we are able to do it.
