The pollution level in our country and around the globe have risen significantly and pollution from vehicles is one of the major reason that contributes about 20 -30% of the total case. Hence we believe that we need a more eco friendly mode of transport and CycloFit offers just that.
CycloFit brings in people that are passionate about cycling into one place and captivate them through our applications through which any user can track their progess , see themselves and their friend on the leaderboard , get a visual representation of their Kcals burnt , heart rate , distance covered and much more in a single mobile application.
But cyclists in our country faces many challenges as well, one of them being their safety and a will to start. If you are an amatuer you would have often felt the need of a companion , someone you could start off your cycling journey with , well we have got you covered on that part as well through our mobile app that allows user to be a part of community or make one themselves and then start off their jouney.
Keeping safety in mind we have installed proximity sensor on the rear of the bicycle that monitors rate of change of speed of a vehicle and warns the cyclist. We also have a heart rate sensor to monitor his heart rate and in case it is above normal level we will ask him to slow down. Also we have a temperature sensor that checks the body temp and warns him incase its too high.
Incase of accident a gyroscope that comes installed in our hardware device ,will send a SOS to the registered mobile number if it goes on a negative axis. These are just few of the functionalities of our app and we strongly believe that with the proper direction it can be the next big thing .
We had picked up some faulty hardware equipments at the starting of the hackathon heart senor being one of them thus,we had to change the hardware device multiple times.
Coming to the mobile app, we were using the firestore for the first time and hence we faced a lot of issue when we were building the community section of our app. The live data were not being shown as expected and we had to use a lot of stackoverflow to overcome that.
