Streets of our country are rough and especially if you are a cylclist . Amateur Cyclicsts faces certain risks when it comes to cycling on the roads of our country. To overcome this and to provide them with a better infrastucture we have made cyclofit. Our device can be easily mounted on the bicyle and it comes with a lot of features such as a proximity sensor that detects any incoming vehicle at a high speed by monitoring its change of speed ,this will inform the cyclist of the incoming threat and display a message on the LCD display and then the cyclist can act accordingly.
We also have a gyroscopic sensor mounted on our device so that when a cyclist falls off or is met with the unthinkable an SOS is send to the users registered mobile number along with his location . Keeping his heart rate and body temperature in mind we have also integrated a heart rate sensor that monitors his health rate and the same is displayed onto our app through the API .
Along with this, If we just focus on our app then we have also provided a community section to the users such that he doesn't feel alone when he is a naive cyclist because we believe that people sometimes need a push to get started . People can post pictures and comments on the post of that community that will be visible by all other users of that community.
These are some of the features that our device offers and this is what we believe is needed to encourage young people to get into cyclist and transform our society and move towards a greener wellbeing.
Initially we had problems integrating gyroscope onto our device besides this we had to change our heart rate sensor twice to get the right one. Moving to the app we had trouble in implementing the community fragment as it required use of realtime database something that we weren't really familiar with. Thankfully there were resources on youtube that allowed us to get past these hurdles.
