While building CureCom, we encountered several technical and usability challenges. One major hurdle was managing video calls. Additionally, as user traffic increased, the system's performance slowed down. We overcame this by leveraging Firebase and Vercel’s auto-scaling capabilities to ensure smooth performance under load. Data privacy and security were also significant concerns, especially for sensitive health information. We tackled this by implementing end-to-end encryption and secure authentication using Firebase. Another challenge was handling potential bias in AI-driven health suggestions, which we addressed by using diverse training datasets and incorporating human review mechanisms. Lastly, ensuring compatibility across different devices proved difficult, but using React.js for a responsive design and supporting Progressive Web App (PWA) features helped deliver a consistent experience even on low-end devices.
