The problem CryptoSign solves

I'll list it out.

  1. Non - Repudiation: Our service provides proof of the integrity and origin of data.
  2. Temper - Proof: A user cannot temper with the once signed documents.
  3. Easy Verification/Proof: An Employer/User can easily verify/prove the documents' signature.
  4. Trust: For some, trusting a third party company to hold their signature records indefinitely, and not to accidentally or maliciously discard or corrupt them, may not be an acceptable risk.
  5. Privacy: some digital signature services require the file to be uploaded to their cloud server for signing, resulting in privacy issues
  6. Seamless Interface: We are trying to bring blockchain technology to masses
  7. Open Source: Finally, and most importantly, our product being open source gives us a huge advantage as mentioned above.

Challenges we ran into

One of the issues we faced was figuring out how to store a possibly sensitive data on a blockchain without exposing the user's privacy & trying to make the interface seamless. We come up with a somewhat resonable approach that somehow manages to not only not expose the user's private information, also being completely ignorable for the user.
