The problem Cryptix solves

Cryptix addresses several critical issues plaguing the traditional ticketing industry, making ticket buying, selling, and managing easier and safer for everyone involved:

Prevention of Bots and Illegal Resale:

Bots and Scalpers: Traditional ticketing platforms are frequently targeted by bots that purchase large quantities of tickets, which are then resold at exorbitant prices, depriving genuine fans of the chance to buy tickets at face value.
Cryptix Solution: By using blockchain technology and issuing tickets as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Cryptix creates unique and immutable tickets that cannot be replicated or tampered with. Smart contracts enforce strict rules on ticket transfers and resales, effectively preventing bot attacks and illegal resale.
Transparency and Traceability:

Lack of Transparency: Traditional ticketing systems often lack transparency, making it difficult for users to verify the authenticity and history of a ticket. This can lead to fraud and disputes over ticket ownership.
Cryptix Solution: All transactions are recorded on a public blockchain, providing complete transparency and traceability. Users can easily verify the authenticity and history of each ticket, ensuring trust and security in every transaction.

Challenges we ran into

Building Cryptix presented several challenges, including:

Deployment of Smart Contracts:

Lack of Documentation: One of the significant hurdles we faced was the lack of comprehensive documentation for deploying smart contracts on our chosen blockchain platform. This made the deployment process challenging and time-consuming.
Solution: We overcame this by thoroughly researching and experimenting with different deployment methods. We also sought assistance from online developer communities and forums to gather insights and best practices. Through persistence and collaboration, we successfully deployed our smart contracts.
Backend Development:

Complexity: Developing the backend of the platform was more complex than anticipated. Integrating the blockchain with our backend systems and ensuring smooth communication between various components required substantial effort.
Solution: To address this, we broke down the development process into smaller, manageable tasks. We also leveraged frameworks and libraries that facilitated blockchain integration. Continuous testing and iteration helped us identify and resolve issues promptly.
