Taxi service is a humongous $10 billion market just alone in India. Over the past few years, Taxi-hailing giants have dominated this market with increasing demands. However, the life of a driver who works hard to get rides on time is still under crisis, and there is much stress to meet their daily expenses, various debts, and pending loans. When it comes to our local drivers they have lost their customer base due to attractive pricing from centralized agencies. Henceforth We are working on an application that will solve all these problems. The existing centralized application takes up to 60% of the money from the users which pushes both driver and the rider to the losing side, Our application focuses on these accept where we try to establish a win-win situation for both driver and rider. We focus on the core part of a blockchain which gives emphasis on end-to-end encryption of data and data security as storing user and driver details in a blockchain network only.
Coming straight to the point, Solidity is the core part of the blockchain and by integrating this backend part of the application into the frontend that we built, we ran across many errors this way, We were able to overcome this by using ether.js.
We are focusing on the core principle of web3 which is end-to-end data encryption, We worked on this principle and were able to formulate the smart contract for this particular thing.
Our application has two streams of users, namely users/riders and drivers. Designing the user part of not a challenge but designing the driver part was a great challenge for us because we decided to include driver recommended system, where we were supposed to use some ML algorithm to dynamically retrieve the data.
The security part of the application was very much crucial as well, so we are working on that aspect of application.
