Our project is mainly focused on identifying the disease in crops and help our customers by providing them with different solutions for dealing with identified diseases.
The problem CropDoc solves
- We first determine the season or time which has more likeliness of our crops to get affected by the disease
- The customer will then randomly sample few plants in their field and click its photographs.
- If our app identifies certain disease in the crop. It will help our users by providing them with a first aid solution to protect their field and then recommending them with nearest professional who can look into this matter in more details, moreover the users can also buy the fertizers and other products within the app
- To facilitate our users we developed both android and web app and both have the option to change user interface to hindi according to the need of user.
Challenges we ran into
We used tensorflow lite to be able to use deep learning techniques in android but it didn't behaved as expected the predicted values were far from normal and we didn't had the time to fix it.
