App Based Solution to diagonose and treat plant diseases.
The problem CropCare solves
As we know, agriculture plays a vital role in our lives, and crop health is crucial for ensuring food security and sustainable agriculture. Farmers often face challenges in monitoring their crops effectively, and it can be challenging to identify crop diseases and take corrective measures promptly. This is where our Crop Care App comes into play. It also offers a chatBot which can give answers to the Farmer 24/7 and a AI model which will access the camera and detect the disease in the leafs live and a Community to connect experts with farmers for more detailed answers.
Challenges we ran into
The First and biggest challenge is Time, we just had one day and our Ideas were literally soo much that was not possible in just 1 day, but we are giving our best and tried our best to implememt our solution.
Along with that we are just 2nd year students, we are on a path of learning and with these great opportunities of hackthaons, we are just making ahead and getting the deep knowledge of our skills. We give our best to complete our features and made some exciting features like Ai-chatBox, AI model to scan the diseases plus Features that are important to farmers like-whether and Government Schemes card, etc
There were bugs in Ai_chat box to display the answers so we solved it by using dialogflow api and implemented it and errors in community feature to connect the farmers with different famers and we solved it by using a id that links the farmer and the other user while they click on the image they uploaded .
100 of errors in designing the ui of the app in flutter such as pixel overrflow, not directing to the next page, etc but they were easy to solve.
There were bugs in implementing the openweather for weather data.
The AI model training requires atleast 9-10 hours to train as it contains more than 70k images.
