The problem CronCare solves

The main aim of the project is to boost digitalization in the healthcare industry by developing a website and a mobile application where doctors/therapists and patients can interact with each other digitally via chat/video conferences and to make the online consultation process affordable as well as user friendly for the nation.

Doctors/Therapists have to first register themselves to the platform via OTP authentication, after that they have to create their separate profiles according to their specialties by providing details like years of experience, consulting charges, location, etc.

The patients also have to register themselves via OTP authentication and by providing some personal information like name, age, weight, height, diseases, previous health records (uploading reports), etc. According to their diseases, they will be recommended doctor’s on the dashboard which is at a nearby location. Also, they can filter the list as per consulting fees and the ratings of the doctor.

This website/app will also contain all healthcare-related government schemes of which people are unaware, so they can take benefit of all government schemes.

Challenges we ran into

Ans: Doctors can create separate profiles for their multiple specialties to provide various consultancies.

2. How can a patient trust or validate a doctor's expertise?

Ans: Other patients who already have booked appointments and got a consultation can write a review or can rate the doctor for the same.

3. How can a patient with a physical disability visit the doctor for an appointment?

Ans: Patients have an option for choosing an online appointment (video chat).

4. How can patients check if there is any nearby doctor available in their locality?

Ans: Patients will get a list of doctors sorted according to distance from the patient's location.
