Our project tackles the challenge of financial exclusion by empowering small entrepreneurs with AI-driven loan approval through innovative algorithms and data-driven insights. We enable unbanked entrepreneurs to access credit without hassle of a lot of paperwork, and grow their businesses sustainably.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges we faced was bringing the AI model to life. With very little traditional financial data available for unbanked nano-entrepreneurs, we had to get creative finding ways to teach the AI using informal transactions and patterns. Making sure the model could give real-time, reliable credit recommendations while fitting smoothly into our platform was tricky, but it pushed us to think carefully about both technology and the people who would actually use it.
