CovZorg

Access vaccines from the comfort of your home. Managed by a hospital, our vaccine vans will be scheduled at different localities to provide affordable vaccines.

The problem CovZorg solves

  1. Overcrowding at vaccination centers.
  2. Inadequate means of transport due to lockdown in several regions.
  3. Limited exposure to the virus by limiting outdoor activity.
  4. Improper scheduling and unavailability of vaccine doses.

Solutions:

  1. Launching vaccine vans to reach out to people who are in need of vaccines.
  2. Building a website for people to access vaccine vans which would be scheduled according to demand.
  3. Users need to register on the platform using a suitable ID and either book a vaccine dose if a nearby van is available, or request for a vaccine dose. Once registered the user will be notified by our system via emails.
  4. Vaccine vans will be scheduled as per demand in a given area.
  5. Users will be notified a day or two prior to the vaccine vans being scheduled in an area to generate a token for availing vaccines from our vans. Tokens will be generated on a first come first serve basis.
  6. To prevent overcrowding not more than 5 people will be present at the vaccine van at a time.
  7. f an adequate number of users do not turn up for vaccination on a particular day, the vaccine van may be scheduled at a later date to prevent wastage of vaccines.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Since the number of users is being limited, we will be able to reach far less than the maximum capacity.
  2. Managing the Database of the registered users will be a tedious task.
  3. If used on a large scale we would need proper storage and management of the data.
  4. We would also have to cooperate with nearby hospitals, to either authorize us to run the MVC vans or manage them themselves
