The problem Covify solves

With the pandemic, travelling is something that was on a halt for many months by almost all countries. With the invention of COVID vaccines, travel restrictions have been lifted by many for vaccinated travellers. However, the paperwork has increased manifolds especially due to not being able to check the authenticity of vaccination certificates making the whole process extremely tedious. Covify aids in verifying the authenticity of vaccine and vaccine certificates using a global blockchain.

Challenges we ran into

• Integrating Ganache and Metamask. Ganache is a personal blockchain for rapid Ethereum and DAPP development. It can be used across the entire development cycle; enabling us to develop, deploy, and test dApps in a safe and deterministic environment. MetaMask is a software cryptocurrency wallet used to interact with the Ethereum blockchain built on chrome extension. It allows users to access their Ethereum wallet through a browser extension or mobile app, which can then be used to interact with decentralized applications. We were able to resolve it by setting up a common local network.
  -Using Metamask and Web3. As Metamask has stopped injecting web3 changes, not a lot of documentation was avaiable for the same. However we were able to resolve it using eth.getAccounts()
