The seniors of college/school can upload the useful material on it. Many people including me have faced problems in handling drive links of course material and solutions shared by seniors so it website makes it easier for handling.
Some things are not clearly explained in documentation,thanks to stackoverflow which helps people like me who doesn't have anyone around for help while stuck. Stackoverflow and similar websites are boon for developers.
