The problem Cosmic Tunes solves

Comic Tunes is a web-based music application that takes you on a celestial journey through the universe. With a sleek and modern design, Cosmic Tunes offers a unique and immersive music experience that is out of this world.
Our app offers a wide variety of genres, including classical, pop, rock, jazz, and world music. You can create your own playlists, share them with friends, and discover new ones from other users.
Some of the features provided are:

• Celestial Concerts: alerts the user about upcoming concerts/events.
• Intergalactic Podcasts: Collection of podcasts easily accessible to the user.
• Mood Playlists: Playlists based on the user's mood or recent activity.
• Music Library: Collection of music that can be filtered based on artist, genre, and album.
• Social: Displays the listening activity of others; can connect with users all around the world and gain access to their playlists.
• Playlists and Cosmic Stations: Access to pre-made playlists based on user preferences.

Challenges we ran into

• Figuring out the what and how of Figma from scratch within a span of 48 hours
• Coming up with a Design System
• Getting started with prototyping
• Figuring out the correct way to use Auto Layout to enable scroll page functionality
• Setting on the right kind of shade so as to maintain consistency and the aesthetic throughout
