Coordi solves the hassle of managing group payments and crypto transactions in Web3 communities.
Instead of juggling wallets, spreadsheets, or manual tracking, users can simply chat with Coordi to split bills, send crypto, and keep everyone organized—right inside their group messages.
Challenges we ran into
1 - Group identity and membership tracking:
XMTP doesn’t natively provide persistent group info, so we had to build our own system to track group members and manage group data reliably.
2 - Wallet management and security:
Safely storing and handling user wallet data for seamless payments, while keeping everything secure, was tricky.
3- User experience in chat:
Making complex DeFi actions (like splitting payments or airdrops) feel simple and natural in a chat interface required a lot of iteration and testing.
4 - Onboarding and network support:
Ensuring users could easily get started, especially on testnets like Base Sepolia, and handling faucet requests or low balances smoothly.
