1. Data Privacy in Public Voting:

• Challenge: Protecting sensitive information while maintaining transparency and public access to blockchain records.
• Solution: Used encryption methods to anonymize sensitive user data before adding it to the blockchain. This maintained transparency for auditing purposes while protecting individual privacy during public voting and project validations.

2. Weightage of Votes:

• Challenge: Establishing a fair voting system that balances the influence of different individuals (e.g., government officials, citizens, contractors) while ensuring a democratic decision-making process.
• Solution: Implemented a weighted voting system within the blockchain. The weights were assigned based on stakeholder roles to ensure balanced and fair influence in decision-making processes. This was managed through smart contract logic, ensuring transparency and immutability.

3. Data Privacy During Bidding:

• Challenge: Ensuring the privacy of user details during the bidding process, as complaints arose regarding the exposure of sensitive information.
• Solution: Implemented off-chain handling for user details related to complaints. While the blockchain records votes and approvals, sensitive user information (such as those who complained) is stored off-chain to reduce blockchain traffic and maintain privacy. Voting and bid-related actions are handled through off-chain methods to ensure minimal exposure of personal data.
